Deceptive Arrangement by Shadoman (#comics #bdsm #chastity #feminization)

After a brief break for October spookiness, I am back with a whole new helping of illustrated delights, once again courtesy of Amazing Transformation Comics.

Deceptive Arrangement is one of Shadoman’s older works, which means it has a simpler style, with some stark backgrounds, boxy dialogue bubbles, and layered images, but it balances that with amazingly detailed figures, faces, and clothes. You can see the wrinkles in what they are wearing, the drape of a pant cuff, and the sheen of light on leather and satin. It is eye-catching, and the detail builds page by page, ensuring your eye never wanders.

The story introduces us to Ellen and Chris, two grown adults who enjoyed an illicit affair back when Chris was Ellen’s student. Having struggled with confidence issues, and unable to be the dominant man his fiancee needed, Chris has come back looking for the woman who taught him about BDSM . . . and she is eager to help, but only if he understands that things will be far more intense than when he was her student.

What begins with simple bondage quickly gives way to chastity, mysterious injections, milking, weight loss, and feminization – forced, but all in line with the contract he foolishly signed without reading. The medical feminization is nicely detailed, with some great mental aspects as well, but that is only the first half of the story. The scope really widens in the final chapters, with the kind of detail I love, exposing just how far and how deep feminization treatment has spread.

Visuals aside – and this is a gorgeous comic to admire – a bit part of what I enjoyed is the mental aspect, and the way Chris/Christine questions their situation, really considers what happened and why, and begins to change their way of thinking. Even more than that, the way Shadoman shifts things in the final pages, going beyond mere BDSM games to explore its place within a real relationship . . . well, it elevates the story to a whole other level.

Shadoman is a CG artist who enjoys telling stories through 3D comic art. Originally from the Mid-west, he now resides in Southern California. He is a Viet-Nam vet in his mid-60’s, married to a wonderful gal who is also his best friend and text editor. A film buff with an extensive library, it was his passion for film as a young teen that was his vehicle to escape and expand his own creative mind and become a storyteller.
