Idol Worship by SturkWurk and Kaplanos (comics transsexual)

I am delighted to introduce a new name to our weekly showcase of illustrated delights, SturkWurk, who is best known for his work at TGComics.

It has been a crazy week at work, so I have not had a lot of time to read. Fortunately, SturkWurk has a few shorter comics available on the TGComics site, stories I can easily consume between conference calls – not that I would ever multitask, I swear it. 🙂

Idol Worship is one of those shorter stories, a 10-page comic created with Kaplanos. This one engaged my excitement right from the first page, where we see Jessica standing before April Laseen’s backstage dressing room, her own excitement clearly visible through her dress. A ‘fear boner’ as her thoughts reveal.

While the story is almost all sex, there is some detail provided about Jessica, which provides a little context for her motivations, and April’s attitude is entirely in keeping with an entitled rock goddess.

I loved the clothing SturkWurk selected, particularly the checkerboard pattern of April’s stockings and she satiny finish of her top. Sexually, there are some really fun positions and some great points-of-view that allow both women to display their best assets. A quick read, for sure, but one you can be forgiven for lingering over.

Douglas Sturk (SturkWurk) is a writer and illustrator. He creates web comics for http://TGComics.com and http://MindControlComics.com, and can be hired for commission work.
