Examining Your Career Path - Graded このエントリをはてなブックマークに追加

One of those, just to prove I'm not quite yet dead. If you've forgotten the drill, you'll find the evacuation instructions under those dusty Civil Defense pamphlets in the basement.

School started back in recently, I understand. Recalling those halcyon days of bore, terror, delight and discovering that seemingly mild-mannered, kindly-looking scholars can give Ghenghis Khan a run for his money when it comes to ruthless cruelty in fulfilling their aims, this popped into mind.

Some of you have not - and never will - experience something that is otherwise universal to all those pursuing higher education. There comes a time where you walk into a class and discover that, lurking out in plain sight, is a view that produces panicked terror and sudden feelings of "I'm screwed."

Those moments can lead you to wonder whether or not this particular course and career path is for you, and then beginning to think that the humanities course in comparative fruit basket production through history that you sneered at when you saw it on the offerings is starting to sound a lot more attractive.

In this little ditty, they probably would produce the same level of horrified terror and that initial thought, but ideas of headlong flight instead of course changes would accompany them. And that's your only warning clue.
