Joël Jurion

Self-taught, Joel Jurion has a true love for drawing since his childhood. He has drawn Vegas, Anachron, “Les demons de Dunwich” and Klaw (8 volumes) series. Joel has also realized character-design for animation movies such as Prodigies (2008), The little Prince (2009) and “Pourquoi j’ai pas mangé mon père” (2011). With GDBM, Joel has published two artbooks, has drawn short-stories in the Vanadis Collective and has released his own ero-short-stories collection, Shameless.

Joël Jurion (born October 3, 1975), is a freelance illustrator of French origin frequently illustrating in collaboration with GDBM/Casteleven. He collaborates with Thierry Cailleteau on the series Anachron (6 volumes from 2001 to 2007) and Ozanam on the series Klaw (5 volumes since 2013).

His first notoriety was from the illustration of original homosexual and transsexual characters featured on his old blog. Years later, with GDMB, Joel illustrated a futanari short story in The Vanadis Collective. Afterward, a bulk of older illustrations were refined in his first published artbook. 100 Pudeurs (released November 2016) is another artbook containing many of his older short stories. Toward the tail end of 2016, Joel was confirmed to illustrate another short story for Vanadis 2nd Coming.

Something to note is that Joel is attempting to distance himself from explicit illustrations, presumably to maintain a non-erotic profession.
